Direct Admission in Christ University for Law

Christ is deemed to be a university in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Founded in 1969 as an autonomous college, on 22 July 2008 it was declared as an institution deemed to be university under section 3 of UGC Act 1956 by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India

Christ University, formerly Christ College had the rare distinction of being the first institution in Karnataka to be accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), UGC and reaccredited with an A+ in 2005 for quality education. In four decades, the Institution has become the most preferred educational institution in the city of Bangalore.

The School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) (SLCU), Bangalore, is approved by the Bar Council of India to conduct the B.B.A., L.L.B. (Honours) course. The school offers a five-year integrated law program, the successful completion of which will earn the student a B.B.A., L.L.B. degree (Honours) to be awarded by CHRIST (Deemed to be University).

Located in a beautiful expansive campus of Christ University, Bangalore, SLCU is an institute imparting world-class legal education not only to students from various parts of the country but also from the Middle East and Mauritius. The Courses are approved by the Bar Council of India.

Christ University conducts its law entrance exam for admission to BA LLB (hons.) and BBA LLB (hons.) courses at Christ University. The application form of BA LLB and BBA LLB Entrance Exams has been released. Christ University Entrance Test is conducted in 2 sessions for law courses. Exam date of Session 1 is April 14, 2020 and for Session 2 is April 26, 2020.

Eligibility for LLB Courses

Candidates, below the age of 21 on 1 April of the year of application, who have passed their 10+2 examination or its equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks at the final examination are eligible to appear for the entrance examination.

Students are admitted on the basis of an entrance test followed by a personal interview and micro presentation. The selection process is conducted in Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata and Ghaziabad in the months of April and May.
