BA LLB (Honours)
The BA LLB (Honours) is specially designed with a multi-disciplinary approach to cater to requirements of litigation, judiciary, academia, policy engagement et cetera of legal industry. This Programme provides a stellar background for foray into Indian Administrative Services too.
In the first two years of the integrated BA LLB (Honours) programme, major courses like economics and political science are offered which primarily form the differential element as against the BBA LLB (Honours) programme.

Bar Council of India Approval
The School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) is granted approval by Bar Council of India.
To process Direct Admission
Candidates must choose the preferred date and time from available options to facilitate a smooth admission process.

As per UGC guidelines, fee payment has to be made through online mode.
Payment options and details will be available in the offer of admission.
Fees for the first year including Admission Registration fee must be paid in full as part of the admission process.
All original marks cards and one set of photocopies must be submitted for verification at the time of admission as mentioned below
Class 10 Marks Statement and Class 11/12 Marks Statement (Mandatory).
Transfer Certificate (TC) of Class 12 from the last qualified institution must be submitted by 20 October 2022 (Mandatory).
Migration Certificate of Class 12 (applicable for all candidates except Karnataka state board applicants) must be submitted by 20 October 2022 (Mandatory).
One Stamp size and one passport size photograph formal dress with a white background (Mandatory).
Two Copies of the Online Payment Receipt (Mandatory).
Copy of valid ID proof (Aadhar Card / Aadhar Enrolment Receipt / PAN Card / Voter ID Card).
Candidates falling under any of these categories (NRI / PIO / OCI / SAARC / AFRICA / ASEAN / OTHER FOREIGN NATIONALS) have to submit:
Copy of Passport and Visa Details (Mandatory).
PIO / OCI have to produce a copy of the PIO / OCI card whichever is applicable (Mandatory).
Medical Fitness Certificate (MFC) from any recognized medical practitioner certified by the Medical Council of India and
Resident Permit (RP) (If available while applying)
Applicants may apply for the programme from 11 January 2022 when applications will be available online on the University website till the date applications officially close.
Applications for each programme will close approximately a week before the scheduled selection process.
All applicants must visit the page: https://appstat.christuniversity.in and register by entering NAME (as printed on Class 10 Marks Card), EMAIL-ID and set a password. (The email id and mobile number provided will be used for sending confirmation and application status-update messages). An applicant can apply for as many programmes using the same ID as long as the prescribed eligibility criteria for the specific programme is fulfilled.
Applicants must have the following documents before filling the application online:
Copy of statement of marks of Class 10, Class 11/ 12, (Mandatory).
Fill in all the details in the “detailed application” page. Scan and upload a recent passport size photograph (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms formal dress with white background) and click “Submit”. On clicking Submit, a viewable and editable page will appear on the screen. In case you need to make any corrections; you may edit the data/details and then click “Confirm Submission”.
Make payment using a card and after successful payment, click on submit. A 9 (Nine) digit Application number will be generated. If unable to print the application form due to system/power/internet failure, logon to https://appstat.christuniversity.in, under the “Application Status” page enter the registered Email-ID and password to view and print the application form. (After payment if you do not receive the 9 (Nine) digit application number, then your application process is incomplete, and payment will go in for refund process. The refund will take about 15 days and must be checked with your bank).

The Important Dates section must be referred to before filling the application, or candidates can choose the selection process dates while filling the application online.
No request for change of date/city will be entertained.
Applicants applying while in their final year of schooling must carry the marks card up to the previous year when they report to the selection process venue. Documents to be carried are application printout along with the original class X, and Class XI / XII marks cards and a set of photocopies.
Original marks cards and ID proof will be verified during the selection process.

Eligibility 2023
- Eligibility for the programme is a pass at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) in any stream with minimum of 45% (Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce & Management, Sciences) from any recognised Board in India.
- Candidates writing the +2 examinations in March-May 2023 may apply with their class X and XI marks.
Students pursuing International curriculum must note that eligibility is according to AIU stipulations:
- Applicants pursuing IB curriculum must have 3 HL and 3 SL with 24 credits.
- Applicants pursuing GCE / Edexcel must have a minimum of 3 A levels with a grade not less than C.

# The fee for Karnataka domicile students, as indicated in the table, is the actual fee payable and excludes the scholarship amount.
It is to be noted that though the fee is fixed for five years, there may be a periodic nominal increase to meet the rise in costs.
1. NRI fee is applicable for the first year for candidates who have studied foreign syllabus (has to be approved by UGC / AIU) in the qualifying examination of study in India. In subsequent years Other Indian States fee will be applicable.
(The above condition is not applicable to NRI and candidates applied under NRI Category).
2. NRI fee is applicable for the full duration of the Programme for candidates who;
2.1. Have pursued and completed their last qualifying exam from outside India.

3. To claim the Indian category fee, the candidates should have studied last 7 years in India. (Not applicable for OCI, PIO and Foreign Nationals).
4. Admission registration fee of INR 5000/- is non-refundable in the event of cancellation of admission. This fee will be apart from cancellation charges if applicable.
5. All Candidates If “Selected” after appearing for the final selection process, the fee may be paid through the following option:

Important Instructions Read all Important Links (Eligibility, Documents requirements etc) thoroughly. The date and time for the selection process are auto-generated by the system. Therefore, any request for changes will not be entertained. A Google calendar invite will be sent to your registered email id, ONE day before the MP/PI selection process. Candidates failing to appear for the selection process at the stipulated date and time will be considered as “Not Selected”. Candidates must show the original Government recognized photo identity card (Aadhar card/Passport/Voter ID/Recent College ID card) for attending the online selection process. Failing which the application will be considered as “Not Selected”. All original Class 10, Class 12, Degree Marks Card (Students pursuing their final year must have the statement of marks up to the previous semester/year) should be available for verification during the personal interview round. It is recommended to login atleast 15mts before the scheduled time to avoid any last-minute technical glitches. Impersonation or any suspicious behaviour (prompting by a third person or accessing notes/gadgets) will be treated as malpractice and the application will be termed as “Not Selected”. The responsibility of satisfying the eligibility criteria for admission rests with the student/candidate. The issue of the E-Admit Card for the selection process does not imply that the eligibility criteria are satisfied. |
