M.S. Ramaiah College of Law Bangalore was established in 1995 by Dr. Late Sri. M. S. Ramaiah. The College is approved with Bar Council of India and affiliated to Karnataka State Law University (KSLU), Hubli (Karnataka). It added one more feather to the cap of M. S. Ramaiah Group of Institutions.
Ever since its inception, within a short spell of time, the college committing itself to the cause of quality legal education has made fast strides to carve a niche for itself in the horizon of legal education.
The saga of its journey from a humble beginning to become a hub of academic and intellectual activity, perching itself on higher and higher pedestal in realization of its beloved founder’s highly cherished goal of imparting quality legal education is illustrious that it has become a melting pot of cultures attracting meritorious students from the width and breadth of the country.

BA-LLB Course –

BA-LLB degree in M. S. Ramaiah College of Law Bangalore is awarded to those students who successfully complete the five-year course.

BA-LLB Admission Criteria
The Candidate is willing to take BA-LLB Five years Integrated Course in M. S. Ramaiah College of Law Bangalore he/she has to fulfill below criteria:-
- The candidate who has successfully completed Pre-University course or Senior Secondary School course (‘+2’) or equivalent such as (11+1, ‘A’ level in Senior School Leaving Certificate course) from a recognized University of India or outside or from Senior Secondary Board or equivalent, constituted or recognized by the Union or by the State Government or from any equivalent institution from a foreign country recognized by the government of that country for the purpose of issue of qualifying certificate on successful completion of the course, may apply for and be admitted into the course.
- The minimum percentage of marks in qualifying examination shall not be below 45% (44.5% and above shall be treated as 45%) of total marks in case of general category applicants and the minimum percentage of marks in qualifying examination shall not be below 40% (39.5% and above shall be treated as 40%) of total marks in case of SC and ST applicants.
- The maximum age for seeking admission is limited to twenty years in the case of the general category of applicants and to twenty-two years in the case of applicants from SC, ST and as on 1st June.
BA-LLB Intake
The intake for studies in law, under the jurisdiction of Karnataka State Law University, shall be 120. The University shall reserve the right to prescribe the number of divisions in each Law College or the Department of Studies in Law. Accordingly maximum of 120 students divided into two sections of 60 students each are admitted.
