MS Ramaiah College of Law, Bangalore was established in 1995 by the Gokula Education Foundation. It is recognized by Bar Council of India and delinked from Bangalore University, the parent university and affiliated to Karnataka State Law University, Hubli, under the Karnataka State Law University Act, 2009.

About the LLB Course:
This is a 3 year program that prepares graduates for a career in mgmt. The objective is to familiarize students with a range of skills and techniques required to emerge as future business leaders. BA LLB Course
The duration of the BA LLB Course shall be five academic years consisting of ten semesters. Each Academic Year shall be divided into two Semesters. Each Semester shall consist of 18 weeks. BA LLB degree is awarded to those students who successfully complete the five-year course.

About BBA LLB Course:
BBA LLB course is a five-year integrated course which imbibes both experience and study of Business administration and Law which in turn can make a company or organization ethically strong.
Combination of BBA and LLB subjects are taught over a period of 5 years. In the first three years, BBA subjects are pre-dominant with relatively fewer LLB subjects. Emphasis is laid on experiential learning by means of Guest lecturers, Visits in parliament, Jail, Court etc. Internship with Top Law firms, Advocates and Legal organizations.
As of Law, it is a set of categorized rules and regulations under which any society or country is governed. BBA + LLB is a five Years Course with ten semesters which teaches students about the importance of law in governance and other aspects of it.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admission to the Law Course should have passed an examination of PUC / 10 + 2 course of schooling recognized by the educational authorities of the Central or the State Government or possess such academic qualifications which are considered equivalent to such PUC / 10 + 2 courses by the Bar Council of India and should have secured a minimum of 45% marks in the final examination of the said programme.
Selection for admission to 5 Year Law course is made on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in 10 + 2 examination.
Maximum age for seeking admission is limited to twenty years in case of general category of applicants and to twenty-two years in the case of applicants from SC, ST and as on 1st June.
Admission Process
Admission is strictly based on the marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination.

The candidates with CLAT scores shall be given preference. Candidate having eligibility of 50% of CLAT score (100/200) will be given direct admission after the personal interview with the Admission Process Review Committee.
Seat Intake:
The intake for studies in law, under the jurisdiction of Karnataka State Law University, shall be 120. The University shall reserve the right to prescribe the number of divisions in each Law School or the Department of Studies in Law. Accordingly maximum of 120 students divided into two sections of 60 students each are admitted.

The College has a well-established placement cell headed by the Principal and assisted by the faculty members. The placement cell plays a key role in contacting different organizations and law firms to facilitate the outgoing students of Bachelor of Arts+ law to get placed.
Apart from this, the placement cell undertakes vigorous placement training programmes to the final year students. For this purpose we conduct career guidance sessions, workshops for communication skills, resume writing skills.
The placement cell of M.S.R.C.L aims at making available quality placement opportunities for the graduating students apart from facilitating them to undergo Internship Programme with various organizations, NGOs, law firms.
