Dr. D. Y. Dr. D. Y. Patil Law College was established in the year-2001 under the patronage of Dr. P. D. Patil, Chairman.
The College is located on the Mumbai Pune Highway, 20 km from Pune Railway Station opposite Hindustan Antibiotics Ltd., Pimpri, Pune. Pune is 3 hours travel by Express Highway from Mumbai and is well connected by rail, road and air to most of the parts of the country.

- D.Y. Patil Law College has got an opportunity to be the only Centre for conducting All India Bar Council Examination, conducted by Bar Council of India on the 25th August 2014.
- A letter of Appreciation, by Bar Council India was given to the College for well organizing and smooth conduction of the said examinations. As a result of our best performance, BCI once again selected our college as one of the center for All India Bar Council Examination. Total 600 students from all around Pune have attended this examination. Very proud to mention that our college was the only Centre for this examination throughout Pune.
- Happy to announce that have successfully conducted All India Bar Council Examination on 24th May 2015.
