MS Ramaiah College of Law, Bangalore was established in 1995 by the Gokula Education Foundation. It is recognized by Bar Council of India and delinked from Bangalore University, the parent university and affiliated to Karnataka State Law University, Hubli, under the Karnataka State Law University Act, 2009.
The college has placed itself in a pivotal position by offering the nation a stream of competent and brilliant persons in the field of legal learning, which is evident from the fact that some of its graduates have adorned very coveted positions in bench, bar and corporate sector.

MS Ramaiah College of Law –Objectives

BA LLB Course in MS Ramaiah College of Law
The duration of the BA LLB Course shall be five academic years consisting of ten semesters. Each Academic Year shall be divided into two Semesters. Each Semester shall consist of 18 weeks. BA LLB degree is awarded to those students who successfully complete the five-year course. Lateral entry and lateral exit are prohibited with effect from 2009 as per the Bar Council of India Rules.
Teaching and training in the college are undertaken in accordance with the regulations of the Bar Council of India. The college being affiliated to Karnataka State Law University from the academic year 2009 follows the syllabus prescribed by the University.
MS Ramaiah College of Law –Eligibility:
Candidates seeking admission to the Law Course should have passed an examination of PUC / 10 + 2 course of schooling recognized by the educational authorities of the Central or the State Government or possess such academic qualifications which are considered equivalent to such PUC / 10 + 2 courses by the Bar Council of India and should have secured a minimum of 45% marks in the final examination of the said programme.

Placement cell :
The College has a well established placement cell headed by the Principal and assisted by the faculty members. The placement cell plays a key role in contacting different organizations and law firms to facilitate the outgoing students of Bachelor of Arts+ law to get placed.
The placement cell of M.S.R.C.L aims at making available quality placement opportunities for the graduating students apart from facilitating them to undergo Internship Programme with various organizations, NGOs, law firms.

Library:
The college has a well-equipped library with state-of-the-art facilities and over 10,000 books including text books, reference books, periodicals, journals, national and international law reports.
