Candidates aspiring to join B.A LL.B. / B.B.A LL.B offered by Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA, constituent of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) have to take the common, mandatory online Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) 2021. Aspirants can now complete the Online SLAT 2022 as well as programme registrations in the same portal (https://www.set-test.org). Application Procedure

A candidate needs to register for Online SLAT & also register for Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA offering his/ her choice of programmes by paying separate programmes registration fees. If shortlisted, he/she would then need to attend the further admission process conducted by each of these institutes individually.

Selection Procedure

Selection is done in two phases:

  • Candidates will be short listed on the basis of the SLAT score.
  • The short listed candidates will be invited for Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT) at:
    • Symbiosis International (Deemed University) Noida Campus (Symbiosis Law School, Block A 47/48, Sector 62, NOIDA-201301)
    • Symbiosis International (Deemed University) Pune Campus (Symbiosis Law School Pune, Survey No 227, Plot 11, Rohan Mithila, Opp. Pune Airport, New Airport Road, Viman Nagar, Pune – 411014)

* Provided there is a minimum of 20 candidates opting for the centre- Get Top Law Colleges for LLB Direct Admission for 2022 Session. Final Merit list shall be drawn on the basis of SLAT Score (50%) and PI-WAT performance (50%). In other words, it will be based on the cumulative marks scored on the scale of 100 marks wherein SLAT score will be scaled down to 50 marks i.e. 50% weightage and the remaining 50% weightage will be assigned as follows: Personal Interaction (PI) – 30 marks i.e. 30% and Written Ability Test (WAT) – 20 marks i.e. 20%

Eligibility

Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (B.A. LL.B) and Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Laws (B.B.A. LL.B): The candidate should have passed 12th (10+2) standard examination from any government-recognized board with minimum 45% marks (40% for S.C. / S.T. students). Students who have appeared for their H.S.C finals and awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate by the notified date.

Intake: The total intake is 300 seats, which includes 180 seats for BBA.LL.B. and 120 seats for BA.LL.B.

Reservation of Seats:

Within the Sanctioned Intake:

  • Scheduled Caste: 15%
  • Scheduled Tribe: 7.5%
  • Differently Abled: 3%
  • Over & Above Sanctioned Intake:
  • Jammu and Kashmir Migrants: 2 Seats Per Programme
  • International Students: 15% (Including PIO and NRI)

Fee Structure

  • LL.B. – ₹ 3,00,000/- per annum (+ ₹ 10,000/- Caution Money)
  • LL.B. – ₹ 3,00,000/- per annum (+ ₹ 10,000/- Caution Money)

No capitation is charged for admission to any programme at any institute of Symbiosis. All or any disputes relating to selection, cancellation of admission, refund of fees, examination, certification, and disciplinary matters shall be exclusively subject to jurisdiction of Pune or NOIDA courts/forums only. And for the purpose of writ jurisdiction, the jurisdiction shall be exclusively with High Court of Bombay at Mumbai.

College is delighted to inform your good self that Centre for Post-Graduate Legal Studies (hereinafter referred as CPGLS) is established at Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA. CPGLS will offer Post Graduate Programme (LL.M.) in following two specialisations.

  • Business and Corporate Law
  • Criminal Law and Security Law

Application Procedure

Candidates aspiring to join LL.M. offered by Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA, constituent of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) have to take the common, mandatory All India Admission Test (hereinafter referred as AIAT), which consists of Written Test (70%) and Personal Interview (30%).

Pl. remember Candidate applying for SLS-NOIDA as well as SLS-Pune, SLS-Nagpur will fill one form but will have to pay application fees separately @ 1250/- per institution.

Selection Procedure:

  • Candidates aspiring to join LL.M. offered by Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA, constituent of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) have to take the common, mandatory All India Admission Test (hereinafter referred as AIAT), which consists of Written Test* (70%) and Personal Interview** (30%).
    • AIAT will include objective and subjective written test to assess the teaching aptitude, research aptitude, legal aptitude and basic legal knowledge. It shall include questions from the following areas: Research Methodology, Legal Reasoning, Legal Aptitude, Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law, Indian Penal Code, Public International Law, Human Rights, Indian Contract Act, Company Law, Family Law and Environmental Law.
    • Personal Interview is intended to test the Personal Attributes, Fitment, Work Experience, Publications and Statement of Purpose.

Note:You are requested to bring a Statement of Purpose (SOP) not more than (250 words) and two references (one page each) from the Head and Supervisor/Professor of your Institute/ College at the time of appearing for the AIAT.

  • Candidates will appear for AIAT and PI as per applicable schedule, in a given case.

Final Merit list shall be drawn on the basis of AIAT Score (70%) and Personal Interview (30%) performance.

Eligibility: Three or Five Year LL.B Degree from any Indian or Foreign University recognized by the UGC with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade [45% for SC/ST Candidates]. Candidates who have appeared for the final year LL.B examination may also apply.
