Sinhgad Law College is situated in the spacious location at Ambegaon (Bk.), STES Ambegaon Campus, Pune a pollution free and lovable place, providing congenial environment, conducive to all round development of the students.
Sinhgad Law College was established in the year 2003 under the dynamic leadership of Prof. M.N. Navale. The college offers career in legal studies through LL.B. (Three Years) and B.A. LL.B. / B.S.L., LL.B. (Five Years) courses.
The College also runs the other specialized courses like Diploma in Labour Laws and Labour Welfare, Diploma in Taxation Laws and Certificate Course in Forensic and Medical Jurisprudence. There is well qualified Teaching Staff, well-equipped Library, separate Computer Laboratory and other infra-structural facilities conducive for learning and development.
Our commitment is to impart quality legal education through highly qualified and experienced lecturers along with clinical educational inputs through Moot Courts, Debates, Legal Literacy Camps and Research activities.

Infrastructure
STES has provided an extension counter with an ATM facility of major Nationalized and reputed Banks, facilitating financial transactions of the Students. A Clinic for routine medical services, with quality medical staff is available on the Campus. STES has Medical and Dental Hospitals. To facilitate the students with easy access to stationary and other basic requirements, shops are available on the Campus.
Other facilities like a Medical Store, Laundry, P.C.O., round the clock security are also provided. The Central Library is situated at NBN Sinhgad Technical Institute Campus. Library Reading Halls are kept open for 24 hrs. All students of STES can use the Reading Hall facility.
The Establishment of the Legal Aid Centre of the college aims at developing a sense of social responsibility among the students. It provides an opportunity to interact with and understand the problems of the common people and help them to solve their disputes amicably through conciliation.
The computer centre of the college provides access to a wide range of local computer application such as word processing, spread sheet database software etc. and facility of Internet for getting online access to any information on relevant subject.
College provides Internet facility and different Legal Software’s to the students like Laws super, online access for Indian Journal of Gender Studies and Manupatra Database. Hostel Facility is available for Boys and Girls students of the College. The well-equipped and fully furnished rooms are available at the College Campus.

Placement Cell
Placement Cell had organized lectures for career guidance to the final year students in July, 2014. Lectures were delivered on the topic ‘How to Draft a CV’ by Mr. Bhushan Patodkar, HR Manager, Ecom Express and on the topic ‘Career Opportunities in LPO’ by Mrs. Neha Satalkar, Director of an LPO.
Moot Court Awards
- S.L.C. won Runner up trophy in “Advocate D. T. Jaibhave Memorial State Level Moot Trial and Judgment Writing Competition- 2007”.
- S.L.C. won Best Advocate prize in “The 2nd Inter-Collegiate Moot Court Competition at Balaji Law College”, Pune.
- S.L.C. won Best Memorial Award in “Advocate D.T. Jaibhave Memorial State Level Moot Trial and Judgment Writing Competition-2008”.
- S.L.C. won Runner up trophy in “The Second Inter-Collegiate Moot Court Competition at Balaji Law College” Pune.
- Saket Anand, Shivprasad Borade and Bhagyalakshmi Dakuwa participated in ‘Sixth All India Shivaji Univesity Moot Court & Alternative Dispute Resolutions (A.D.R.) Competition & Vidhi Mela, 2015’ held on 10th January, 2015 by Department of Law, Shivaji University, Kolhapur. In this competition, Saket Anand secured the Best Mooter Award.
Elocution/ Debate Awards
- Krishna Rawat, a student of Sinhgad Law College, has stood FIRST and won a Cash Prize of Rs.5000/- along with Trophy in Late Shri Shankarraoji Chavan Memorial 2nd State Level Elocution Competition held at Marathwada Mitra Mandal’s Shankarrao Chavan Law College on 16th January, 2010.
- Anupam Dwivedi participated in Dr. Shamarao Kalmadi Memorial State Level Elocution Competition, 2014 held on 11th September, 2014 by Kaveri College of Science and Commerce, Pune. He was successful in securing First Runners-up Position in the said competition.
- Nupur Shastri and Saket Anand participated in the ‘The State Level Inter Collegiate Debate Competition, 2014-15’ organized by M.P. Law College, Aurangabad on 20th September, 2014. Saket Anand secured Consolation Prize for Best Speaker in this competition.
Legal Aid Camp
Legal Literacy Camp plays a vital role in order to create legal awareness amongst people. Legal Aid Camp provides free consultation, direct advice and full representation to society on various laws. The college organized a Legal Aid Camp at Pisaware, Bhor on 7th January, 2017.
Ms. Aparna Rokade, J.M.F.C., Tal. Bhor, was the chief guest for this camp. Many renowned advocates like Adv. Avinash Chaudhari, Adv. V.G. Dudhane, Adv. Rajan Gunjikar, Adv. Priti Jadhav, Adv. Gawali, Adv. R.L. Kondhe participated in the camp.
The villagers were acquainted with various laws and legal provisions like Hindu Succession Act, Land Laws, Domestic Violence Act, etc. Many villagers from Pisaware, Bhor attended and took the benefit of the camp. Queries and doubts of the villagers were satisfactorily answered. Legal advice was provided free of the cost to them.
