DES Shri Navalmal Firodia Law College wins Surana & Surana National Trial Advocacy Moot Court and Judgment Writing Competition.
Surana & Surana National Trial Advocacy Moot Court and Judgment Writing Competition was organized by New Law College, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be) University from 7th-9th September. It was inaugurated by Justice Deepak Gupta, Judge, Supreme Court of India, and was also graced by Justice Sunil. B. Shukre on 8th September, 2018. This year 22 teams participated in this prestigious Competition.
The teams that qualified for the semi-finals were:
1) National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi
2) National Law University, Nagpur
3) Damani Gopabai Bhairuratan Dayanand Law College, Solapur
4) DES Shri Navalmal Firodia Law College, Pune
The team comprising of Sarthak Mehta, Apoorva Maheshwari, Siddharth Khandelwal and Yashwant Thorat from DES Shri Navalmal Firodia Law College, Pune won the Competition.
