Bharati Vidyapeeth University’s New Law College Pune
Bharati Vidyapeeth University’s New Law College, established in 1978, is the premier institute of international excellence in the field of legal education. It is one of the constituent units of Bharati Vidyapeeth University Pune, recognized by Bar Council of India & University Grant Commission.
The collage is also recognized under 2f & 12b of UGC Act 1956. The collage is Re-Accreditated with “A+” Grade by National Assessment & Accreditation Council (3rd Cycle).The college was inaugurated in the year 1978 at the hands of Hon. Mr. Justice Y.V. Chandrachud the then Chief Justice of India.
The foundation stone of the New Law Collage building was laid down in the year 2004 at the hands of the Chief Justice of India Hon. Mr. Justice K.G. Balakrishnan, the then judge Supreme Court of India.
The new building of the law collage was inaugurated in the year 2005 at the hands of Hon. Mr. Justice R.C. Lahoti, the then Chief Justice of India. The collage has celebrated its silver jubilee in the year 2003 .

- The Five Year B.B.A LL.B. Degree Programme approved by BCI is a Ten Semester Programme.
- The duration of each semester shall be of six months.
- There shall be an Examination at the end of each semester which shall be conducted by the University
- Admission to the Programme is by Merit only through All India Law Entrance Test conducted by BharatiVidyapeeth University.

- The medium of instruction and of the examination shall be English.
- The scope of the subjects shall be as indicated in the prescribed syllabus.
- Each paper from Sem- I to Sem- X shall be of 100 marks.
- In each paper out of 100 marks – 40 marks will be for Internal Examination and 60 marks for University Examination. This rule shall not be applicable for Practical Papers.
- The student will be awarded B.B LL.B. degree after passing in all the papers from I semester to X semester in LL.B. 5 Year Programme.
- A person has already obtained B.B.A LL.B. or equivalent degree from any other statutory University will not be eligible for the admission to the BA LL.B. Programme of this University
- B.A. LL.B. 5 Year Degree shall be awarded to candidates on successful completion of a Ten semester programme of study.
