A., LL.B. integrated double degree course combines Bachelors’ degree course in Arts together with the Bachelors’ degree course in Law.
Each Academic year shall be .divided into two Semesters.
The college provides with 5 year BA.LLB integrated course, subjects and the course level goes according to the prescribed rules authorized by KSLU.

Five Year B.A., LL.B Integrated Degree Course

The Course leading to a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.,) is of Five years duration. LL.B., Degree is awarded to those students who successfully complete the five year course. Lateral entry and lateral exit are prohibited with effect from 2009, as per the Bar Council of India Rules.

Teaching and training in the college are undertaken in accordance with the regulations of the Bar Council of India. The college being affiliated to Karnataka State Law University from the current academic year-2009 follows the syllabus prescribed by the university.

Eligibility Criteria-( Direct Admission in Bangalore Institute of Legal Studies )

An applicant who has successfully completed Pre-University course or Senior Secondary School Course (‘+2’) or equivalent such as (11 + 1, ‘A’ level in Senior School Leaving Certificate Course) from a recognized University of India or outside or from Senior Secondary Board or equivalent, constituted or recognized by the Union or by the State Government or from any equivalent institution from a foreign country recognized by the government of that country for the purpose of issue of qualifying certificate on successful completion of the course, may apply for and be admitted into the course.

Admission to the course shall be made strictly on the basis of the merit taking into account total marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Provided that while making admission to the course reservation policy of the Government of Karnataka governing admission to higher educational Institutions issued from time to time shall be applied.

INTERNSHIPS: ( Direct Admission in Bangalore Institute of Legal Studies )

(A) Each registered student shall have completed minimum of 20 weeks of internship during the entire period of legal studies under NGO, Trial and Appellate Advocates, Judiciary; Legal Regulatory authorities, legislatures and Parliament, other Legal functionaries, Market Institutions, Law Firms, Companies and Local Self Government.

(B) The internship in any year cannot be for a continuous period of more than Four Week’ and all students shall at least gone through once in the entire academic period with Trial and Appellate Advocates.

(C) Each student shall keep internship diary in the form stipulated by the University and the same shall be evaluated by the Guide in internship and also a Core Faculty Member of the staff each time. The total mark shall be assessed in the Final Semester if the course in the 4th Clinical course as stipulated under the Scheduled appended to these Regulations
