CLAT Exam Dates 2021-Direct Law Admission
CLAT 2021 Application Form has been released from 1st January 2021. The exam will be held on 10th May 2021. The common law admission test, is an all India common entrance examination. It is conducted on a rotation basis by national law universities (NLUs) of India for admissions to their UG and PG degree programmes. CLAT 2021 will be held in the month of May 2021. There is no upper age limit to apply for the entrance test. The CLAT seats will be allotted to candidates through an online centralized system. Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a centralised test for admission to 21 National Law Universities in India. 43 other education institutes and two public sector institutes are also eligible to use these scores. The test is conducted by the 21 participating law schools in rotation, in the order of their establishment, starting with National Law School of India University which conducted CLAT-2008, And now up to National Law University Odisha which conducted CLAT-2021.

For Under-Graduate Programs
Age Limit: There will be no upper age limit for UG programme in CLAT 2021.
Qualifying Exam: Candidate should qualify the class 12th or equivalent exam from a recognized board or university.
Percentage: 45% marks in case of the candidates belonging to unreserved/OBC/specially abled person (SAP) and other categories and 40% marks in case of the candidates belonging to SC or ST categories.
Appearing candidates: Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying exam in March/April 2020 also eligible for the appearing in CLAT 2020 online examination. They shall be required to produce an evidence of their passing of their qualifying examination at the time of admission, failing which they shall lose their right to be considered for admission.
For Post-Graduate Programs
Age limit: No upper age limit prescribed for appearing CLAT 2021.
Qualifying Exam: The candidate must have minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination i.e. LL.B or any other equivalent exam.
Minimum Marks: 55% marks in case of the candidate is belonging to unreserved categories/OBC and other categories. 50% marks in case of candidate belonging to schedule cast/ schedule tribe.
Appearing Candidates: The candidate must passed/appeared in the final semester or final year of the qualifying examination on the date of his/her admission.

CLAT 2021 Application Form and its Fees
CLAT exam date 2021 – The Consortium announces the CLAT 2021 exam date in its official notification. This year, CLAT exam will be held on June 13 and the academic year may start from August 1. The CLAT 2021 will be conducted for a duration of 2-hours.
CLAT answer key 2021 – Generally, the Consortium of NLUs releases the CLAT answer key (provisional) on the next day of CLAT 2021. The answer key is released in two phases – provisional and final. After the release of the provisional answer key, candidates are allowed to put their objections against the answers. The final answer key is released later after considering the validity of the objections.
CLAT result 2021 – The Consortium releases the CLAT 2021 result a few days after the release of final answer key. The result of CLAT 2021 will be released online and the candidate will be allowed to check their marks scored in the examination through the registration portal. Along with marks, the CLAT result also mentions the candidate’s rank and qualifying status.
CLAT counselling 2021 – Shortlisted candidates will have to appear in the counselling and seat allotment process which is organised by the Consortium of NLUs. Candidates are issued call letters specifying the dates, venue and instruction related to counselling. The objective of organising CLAT counselling sessions is to verify the information and documents submitted by the candidates.
Application fee can be paid through online (by debit card/credit card) mode. The application fee is given below:

Exam Syllabus of CLAT 2021

English including comprehension: In the comprehension section candidate will be assessed on their understanding of the passage and its central theme, meaning of words used therein, etc. the grammar section requires correction and incorrect in grammatical sentences, filling of blanks in sentences with appropriate words, etc.
General knowledge And Current Affairs: The general knowledge will be evaluated on the general awareness including static general knowledge. Question on current affaires will test the candidates on their knowledge of national and international current affairs.
Mathematics: This section will test the candidate’s knowledge of elementary mathematics.
Legal Aptitude: The section will test the candidate’s interest toward the study of law, research aptitude and problem solving ability. Some preposition may not be “true” in the real sense, candidate will have to assume the “truth” of these prepositions and answer the question accordingly.
Logical Reasoning: It may include the variety of logical reasoning questions such as syllogism, logical sequences or analogies etc.

The CLAT form provides the students with a preference list. Each student fills the preference list, according to the colleges he/she desires. On the basis of these preferences and ranks obtained, students are allocated colleges. CLAT 2011 has seen a dramatic change.
The previous system of asking applicants preferences of institution at the time of filing the application form has been done away with. In an attempt to allow for more informed choice, CLAT 2011 applicants were asked to make a selection of institutions after the declaration of results.
