MS Ramaiah College of Law [MSRCL] is a Private Institute located in Bangalore, Karnataka and was established in the year 1995.

The institute is approved by Bar Council of India (BCI) and affiliated to Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi. The Gokula Education Foundation (GEF) was established in the year 1962 by Hon’ble Founder Chairman Dr. M. S. Ramaiah, a visionary, philanthropist and educationalist who pioneered a galaxy of institutions encompassing every field of Education with the sole objective of serving the society.

Today it runs several educational institutions having independent infrastructure, faculty of high caliber with effective and interactive teaching skills.

In the year 1995, the Hon’ble Founder Chairman Dr. M S Ramaiah established a ‘Centre of Excellence’ in the area of legal studies with the noble mission of imparting quality legal education adopting a befitting approach in a healthy academic atmosphere which has gone a long way in molding the future of students to enable them to meet professional challenges with confidence and fortitude.

The college has contributed competent and value-based professionals in the arena of law and this is evident from the fact, that some of its outstanding graduates have excelled in their profession and have also been working in distinguished law firms and companies.

The courses offered by M.S.R.C.L are B.A. L.L.B (Integrated Course), PG Diploma in Cyber & Information Technology and Certificate Course in Human Rights.’

BA LLB Course

The duration of the BA LLB Course shall be five academic years consisting of ten semesters. Each Academic Year shall be divided into two Semesters. Each Semester shall consist of 18 weeks. BA LLB degree is awarded to those students who successfully complete the five-year course.
Lateral entry and lateral exit are prohibited with effect from 2009 as per the Bar Council of India Rules. Teaching and training in the college are undertaken in accordance with the regulations of the Bar Council of India.
The college being affiliated to Karnataka State University from the academic year 2009 follows the syllabus prescribed by the University

Application Process

Fill up the form correctly by attaching the following documents:
10th and 10+2-mark sheet along with the passing certificate.
Migration and Character Certificate.
UG Degree Mark Sheet (for PG Diploma).

Physically Handicapped Certificate (if any).
4 passport-sized photographs.
Medical Certificate.
Anti-ragging affidavits.

Upon receiving the documents, a college will inform the applicants to complete the admission formalities. Failing which the admission of candidate stands cancelled and the seats may be allotted to another eligible candidate.
Candidates must carry the Original documents along with the admission fees and self-attested photocopies of the documents for verification purpose.
