School of Law, Christ University Bangalore, is a part of Christ University, founded and is administered by Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI). CMI, the first indigenous Catholic religious congregation of India with a membership of 2000, renders its service to humanity in educational, social, healthcare and other activities.

Christ University, formerly Christ College had the rare distinction of being the first institution in Karnataka to be accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), UGC and reaccredited with an A+ in 2005 for quality education.

Bachelor of Law (BBA. LLB) (Honours): (Christ School of Law Direct BBA-LLB Admission 2019)

• The SLCU, Bangalore, is approved by the Bar Council of India to conduct the B.B.A., L.L.B. (Honours) course.
• The school offers a five-year integrated law program, the successful completion of which will earn the student a B.B.A., L.L.B. degree (Honours) to be awarded by CHRIST (Deemed to be University).
• In addition to the mandatory courses over the ten semester program, The SLCU has introduced for the benefit of its students numerous other value-added courses and programs aimed at putting the student on par with the standard of legal education imparted at the best international universities.
• In this SLCU, knowledge of law is imparted by a teaching-learning process; teaching is supplemented by a variety of skills, such as skills in advocacy, legal writing, research, and management of time.
• The courses are specifically designed keeping in mind the latest development in the field of law. The course is oriented towards the industry and is aided by an advisory board comprised of some of the leading lights in the legal fraternity.
• Special emphasis on ethics, life skills and holistic education will empower the students to achieve integrity and look forward to effective contribution to the society.

• Passed in +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) in any stream with minimum score of 45% (Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce & Management, and Sciences) from any recognized Board in India.
• Candidates writing the +2 examinations in March-May 2019 may apply with their class X and XI marks.

• Class 10 Marks Statement.
• Class 12 Marks Statement, if the candidate has appeared and passed the examination.
• Transfer Certificate (TC) of Class 12 from the last qualified institution.
• Migration Certificate of Class 12 (applicable for all candidates except Karnataka state board applicants).
• Two Copies of the Online Payment Receipt.
• Copy of valid ID proof (Aadhaar Card / Aadhaar Enrolment Receipt).
• One Stamp size and one passport size photograph formal dress with white background.
